Facilities
The Uni East member institutions have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities in support of their on-going primary and secondary research programmes. All of these institutions are committed to the concept of knowledge transfer through which tangible benefits are delivered to participating companies.
Knowledge transfer has emerged as the process of turning technology, know-how, expertise and skills into innovative, commercial products and services. The growing need is to commercialise the output of publicly-funded research and knowledge intensive activity – be it in the sciences, to the arts and social sciences.
The Uni East member institutions possess both the expertise and facilities to assist company growth. This section deals with the world-class facilities that support higher education in the East of England, many of which can be accessed commercially by businesses and other organisations.
The Facilities page in under construction and will appear here shortly.
Innovation test
The Innovation test was developed by i10 in order to assess how 'innovative' a business might be. Originally the test was used to assess which businesses would benefit most from University engagement. The AUEE recognises that the capacity for innovation can be an important factor in a business's performance, and so has made the test available here.
